Due to the natural and artisanal process, variations in colour, aroma, taste, texture, thickness, and sediment may naturally occur between batches. Product images and descriptions are for illustrative purposes only. Minor variations shall not be treated as defects or grounds for replacement. Information provided on the Platform is for general awareness only and does not constitute medical or nutritional advice. Customers are advised to consult qualified professionals before consumption if they have medical conditions or dietary concerns.
4. Orders, Acceptance & Cancellation
All orders placed on the Platform are subject to availability, verification, and acceptance by Amma Chekku. Submission of an order does not automatically constitute acceptance.
An order is deemed confirmed only upon successful payment and issuance of an official order confirmation via email, SMS, or WhatsApp.
Amma Chekku reserves the right to accept, reject, modify, limit, or cancel any order at its sole discretion due to pricing errors, technical issues, stock unavailability, suspected fraud, or operational constraints.
5. Pricing & Payments

Payments must be made through authorised secure payment gateways. Amma Chekku does not store card or banking details and is not liable for payment gateway failures or banking delays.
6. Shipping & Delivery
Delivery timelines shown on the Platform are estimates only. Actual delivery may vary due to logistics, location, weather, or unforeseen circumstances.
Ownership and risk transfer to the customer upon successful delivery. Customers must inspect packages at delivery and report visible damage immediately.
7. Returns, Refunds & Replacements
Because edible oils are perishable and consumable, Amma Chekku follows a strict replacement-only policy after delivery and a limited refund policy before delivery.
7.1 Replacement Policy (After Delivery)
- No monetary refunds are provided after delivery under any circumstances
- Replacement is permitted only for transit-related damage, leakage, defective products, or incorrect items
- Claims must be raised within 24 hours of delivery
- A clear, continuous unboxing video recorded at the time of delivery is mandatory
- Claims without valid unboxing video proof will be rejected
Approved claims shall be resolved only through product replacement, as detailed in the Return & Refund (Replacement Only) Policy.
7.2 Cancellation & Refund Policy (Before Delivery)
- Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of order placement, provided the product has not been shipped or delivered
- If an order is cancelled within this window and delivery has not occurred, a monetary refund will be processed
- Once the product is shipped or delivered, cancellation and monetary refunds are not permitted
All refund timelines and conditions are governed by the Return & Refund Policy.
8. User Obligations & Conduct
Users agree to use the Platform lawfully and shall not engage in fraudulent activities, unauthorized access, data misuse, or security interference.
