WHERE IT ALL BEGAN
Amma Chekku began in 2017 with a simple belief – the traditional wisdom of our elders was never wrong, only forgotten. Under Ultra Gold Food Products, we set out to revive the age-old wood-pressed chekku method, not as a trend, but as a way of life.
In a world driven by speed and shortcuts, we chose patience. Instead of refining and chemicals, we chose purity. Our groundnut, sesame, and coconut oils are slowly extracted in traditional wooden chekku mills, preserving their natural taste, aroma, and nutritional value. No unnecessary intervention. No compromise on hygiene.
What started as a humble effort has grown into Amma Chekku – a name trusted for authenticity and warmth, reminiscent of a mother’s kitchen. Today, we manufacture 100% pure Groundnut Oil, Sesame Oil, and Coconut Oil in 500 ml, 1 litre, 2 litre, and 5 litre packs, serving customers across Tamil Nadu, South India, and across the country.
